The small print:

Returns Policy

Lavender Mint is a very small home based business and all products are checked merticulously (by me) for damage or fault prior to dispatch. In view of this I do not offer refunds for items in the event you have changed your mind or damage inccured by failure to follow the care instructions. In the rare event you recieve a damaged item or it breaks within an unreasonable amount of time I will of course replace or fix it for you. The item will need to be returned to Lavender Mint by tracked NZ post which will be reimbursed at a total cost of $4.50.

Scrub hats are at risk of some shrinkage on first wash, this is normal and not a valid reason for refund. Snaps on stethoscope covers can on rare occasion break and I will repair this for you (see note on returning items above).  Velcro used on sandwich bags will not last forever but to prolong its life washing it according to care instructions is paramount! 


The privacy of your customer data, orders and payment details are very important. I will not disclose or sell your customer data to any third party. All correspondence via email and messenger will also remain confidential.

Delivery Times

I will process your order within 3 - 5 business days once payment has cleared. Payment by online banking cannot be checked until the next business day. I will send you an email notifying you when your order has been shipped. Please allow up to 7 - 10 days for delivery within New Zealand. I will contact you immediately should there be any issues with processing your order. 


I use NZ post tracked postage to ensure your order arrives safely. It only adds $1 to the postage cost and is not optional. Postage costs also includes packaging materials and time spent travelling to the post office.

  • Tracked NZ delivery (not rural) postage is $5 flat rate.
  • Tracked NZ rural delivery (RD addresses) postage is $7.50 flat rate (rural delivery with NZ post inccurs an extra charge of $3.70 per package apologies! Maybe consider if you have a workplace/ family member/ friend who will accept delivery who is not rural. I'm rural myself, the charge sucks!) 
  • International delivery I am in the process of finding an economical way to send my happiness overseas. If you are outside NZ message me to discuss.


In a bid to be as eco friendly as possible I use brown paper as packaging for all orders. This is recyclable or can be popped in your compost!  Our care instructions are also all printed on paper which you can recycle (or use the back for a shopping list, love letter or a creative doodle!) 

Unfortunately our external packaging for postage is plastic but at present it is the most economical option for a wahm (work at home mum) where cost is most definately a restriction!  Soft plastic recycling is available in Auckland only but will hopefully will start up around the rest of New Zealand again soon. Recycling is everyones responsibility - every little bit helps!
